Racing is an integral part of Maranello Motorsport and we maintain a serious commitment to racing
at levels ranging from amateur to the world class professional.
For enthusiasts worldwide Ferrari is synonymous with racing. The only constructor to have taken
part in Formula 1 since the very outset, much of Ferrari's motor sport history has also been written
by privateers racing cars developed directly from the company's production models.
Ferrari's involvement in the highly-competitive GT field has been renewed in the past few years with
the development of models aimed at non-works teams. Along with the 360 Challenge built specifically
for Ferrari's international one-make series, the company has developed FIA GT-specification versions
both of the mid-engined V8 Berlinetta and the 550 / 575M v12 Maranello.
The Ferrari Challenge was developed by Ferrari as a "gentleman driver" program designed to allow
Ferrari enthusiasts the opportunity to drive Ferraris as they are meant to be driven: at speed on
a race track. Drivers in the Ferrari Challenge drive a special model of the Ferrari 360 Modena,
the 360 Challenge with identical specifications and race preparation. This "one design " concept
makes the driver the performance difference, not the car. Maranello Motorsport can provide technical,
racing, logistical support and driver training for customers and their vehicles.
